Celiac Disease Resources

Reader Lynn in Birmingham, Mich., writes to say that:

“There has been recent evidence to suggest learning and attention disorders, as well as physical symptoms of joint pain and unexplained fatigue, are connected to intolerance for gluten, or what is called celiac disease.

“Gluten is contained in foods made with wheat, rye and barley. There are many interesting articles on the web about this condition that affects both children and adults. Google it! Two great books on the topic:1) Celiac Disease: A Hidden Epidemic by Peter H.R. Green, M.D. and Rory Jones, and 2) The Gluten-Free Bible by Jax Peters Lowell.”
